Our Community and the Expectations of the Residents The community of Hawthorne has requested that each resident follow a set of common sense guidelines to preserve a quality standard of living. Each resident is requested to: 1. Ensure that your property is kept clean, free of debris and lawns are cut and well maintained. 2. Trash is kept in proper containers until pick up and no bulk trash is kept on the property and no untagged or junk vehicles are on the property or are illegally parked in the street. 3. Pets should be properly cared for and not allowed to roam the neighborhood or dogs allowed to bark excessively. Dog owners are reminded that county regulations require that dogs be on leash when in the street or in our parks and owners are required to clean up any mess from their dogs. 4. Zoning violations are strictly enforced with regulations and monetary fines applying to both home owners and rental properties. 5. That residents involve themselves in helping to prevent crime in the neighborhood by informing the civic association about suspected problems or calling 911 to report immediate or emergency situations. Residents are reminded that they do not have to give their name and address when calling 911. With everyone's cooperation, we can work together to improve the quality of life of the residents of the community. |
